What is a health coach?
As a health and wellness coach, I’m here to support and guide you in reaching your personal well-being goals. Everyone’s journey looks different, so our work together is tailored to you. I help you explore what matters most, connect you with helpful tools and resources, and encourage you along the way. The goal is to help you feel balanced and fulfilled—whether that’s physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, or socially.
What is the role of the health coach?
My role as a health coach is to create a safe space to listen to you, the client. I listen to the client express who they are, leading them on a path to self discovery. I am here to be resourceful, and to help you make attainable and achievable goals.
What is the role of the client?
As a client, you become the expert in navigating your own life, based on personal preferences and experiences. The Client is solely responsible for decisions, actions, choices, lifestyle changes, and results throughout the program. The Client acknowledges that the Coach acts as a facilitative partner.
What do health coaches NOT do?
Health coaches are not doctors, therapists, dietitians, or personal trainers. We do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. Our role is not to judge, score, or evaluate clients based on health markers. Instead, we stay within our scope by focusing on support, accountability, and helping clients move toward the goals they set for themselves.
Why should I hire a coach?
People often know what they want for their health and well-being, but it can feel overwhelming to actually make it happen. As a health coach, I help you turn your goals into doable steps and stay motivated along the way. Instead of trying to figure it out alone, you get support, accountability, and a partner who helps you create lasting changes that fit your life.
